Professional Drone Photography 𝙄𝙎 My Career

My name is Nicholas Skylar Holzworth and professional landscape and drone photography is where I started my career. I have been a professional drone pilot in Charleston, South Carolina for the better part of a decade and was one of the first drone pilots to be certified by the FAA in the Lowcountry back in 2016.

My landscape and drone photos can be found on display in the Charleston International Airport, Charleston Magazine, the real estate section of the Post & Courier, South Carolina Wildlife Magazine as well as the Detroit Lakes Tourism Bureau. I have been committed to aerial photography since drones became a viable tool in the photography industry back in 2012 and 2013. I have seen the evolution of aerial imaging firsthand which has helped me to gain valuable experience and hone a unique, and creative approach to the art of drone photography.

I have also developed my skillset to include interior real estate and architecture photography which has taken me all over the country and the world. My photos have been utilized to present new and unique perspectives to clients for real estate rentals and sales, business PR and digital marketing. My images are also used as centerpieces to complement interior design and home décor.

Through years of experience I have learned that successful drone photography starts by creating and following a detailed plan for every single shoot. Every real estate listing is unique and every day brings different conditions, therefore preparation is imperative. Details like determining the best time for natural lighting, assessing wind and weather conditions, finding the best field of view, and picking the right drone and camera lens for the job have become a standardized process for obtaining superior images for my clients.

FAA Part 107 Certified

As a FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot, I have completed the Federal Aviation Administration requirements to operate a small unmanned aircraft for commercial purposes. This includes passing a comprehensive knowledge exam, registering my drones with the FAA and following all Federal safety guidelines for airspace use.

$1 Million Insurance Policy

With a $1 Million insurance policy backing every job, my clients are covered in the event of an accident. In the unlikely case that property damage or bodily injury occurs, an extensive insurance policy is in place to cover those expenses giving my clients peace of mind.
